A surprisingly clean nose features notes of rose petal, spice, brown sugar and caramel hints though there is a background note of vegetal as well as well sous bois that also characterizes the round, soft, generous and easy flavors that don't possess much depth but they are delicious. This is one of those interesting wines that manages to be classy and refined even though it doesn't have a lot to say. Note that a second bottle was more expressive but leaner. I would be drinking this now as there is absolutely no benefit to be had by waiting.
